I think its a beneficial establishment, it has the tendency to show its visitors various items and food that can be bought in one location. Where else can you sit outside on a rocking chair, while waiting to be called to eat. And then, walk through a "General Store", just to be seated at a table that has that triangle game for you to play while you wait on your meal.
