Can anyone tell me if this is an LSD?

The rear cover plate part number is just that... a rear cover.

You will either have to remove it and look inside or scrape the goo off the left side housing to see if there is any markings ("S").

Easiest way is to remove the cover. Most likely it is a standard "open" differential.

Well, there's actually an easier way to determine whether it's an LSD, which simply involves turning the output shafts....

You got me there Ken. No telling what lube is inside that thing given the exterior condition. I'd trust no-one but myself with a ratchet and socket to ensure it was a good LSD, especially since my rear diff looked like this.
