London Trip (Places to see?)

Recommended Posts

+1 for the Ace Cafe.

Never been, but have always seen the magazine articles with plenty of pics. Not just Euro or American Iron. They seem to be just regular gearheads. Or as Clarkson says, Petrolheads.

Maybe look into the BBC, see if TopGear is doing a taping.

All: Heading to London this eve, and thought to check with you all re: poossible points of interest (i.e. 02's, and vintage BMW's) . . . I've been told Jaymic is an interesting place to visit.

Any other ideas in or around London. . . . Thx in advance.

Hi, Jaymics not really anywhere near London (well, not to us Brits!), you might do better to look up Munich Legends. Still not in the centre but closer than Jaymic.

Theres not much car-related that I can think of that's actually in London but you're sure to have a good time seeing the non car related sights - and there are always loads of flash and interesting cars driving around the streets.

Me, I'm in the midlands, close to Silverstone/Prodrive/redbull F1 etc. A short drive from Prescott hill climb home of the bugatti owners club. I drive past jaguar in Coventry nearly every day and Aston Martin is only a few minutes away. Warwick is 2 mins from where i live which is where all the Healeys were built and kenilworth just a few minutes in the other direction is where Alvis cars are being made once more. Yesterday 2 of the new baby range rovers drove past my office in camoflage. Oh, I nearly forgot, Morgan are only a short drive too in Malvern.

I'm biased perhaps but I think the midlands is way better for cars than London!! If you get time you should definitely make the trip (not to mention typical tourist traps Stratford upon Avon and Warwick castle!)

Hope you Have fun no matter what you get up to :)
