Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.schusterphoto.com/troy's%20tii.html planning on turning my rusty 74 into a convertable. I have searched and read that you have to weld in some braces. Anybody have any inside info about where I can weld and how much I need to keep it from crumbling in on itself? Guest Anonymous
.....if it's not that rusty-sell it for resto. I know that's not the answer you asked for but you'll probabably put in more hours of work than drive time. In order to provide adequate support you would have to reenforce the underside of the car as if it had a full frame. Problem is, if it's that rusty you'll have no place to weld to. I'll admit it sounds like fun if it would work but the end result could prove dangerous so be careful.
