Carb Leak!!!

I just noticed a nice size fuel leak from what I think is the pump on the side of the Carb (passenger side of carb towards the front were it says weber). I'm sure it would be a good idea to just go ahead and rebuild it since I have know idea when was the last time it received any attention. My Q is were is a good place to get a rebuild kit that offers quality parts and how can I find out exactly which kit to purchase.

My fellow bmw2002faq, you haven't let me down yet so lets hear the comments/suggestions!!

Also, get yourself a disposable Turkey Roasting Pan at the grocery - there are lots of small parts and doing the rebuild in the pan insures they'll not get lost.

Get some Carb Cleaner at NAPA and soak the parts at least 24 hrs. (preferably 48) to melt all the varnish that has built up.

Also take the time to lube and tighten the linkage.

Both of the above tips are excellent, but you might begin by checking to make sure your float bowl floats are not haging up, or out of adjustment, causing the overflow of fuel.
