Interior Questions (noob)

Just wondering what the one lever on the right side of the steering wheel and the two on the left side (up against the dash board), whatever indication that was on my car has long rubbed off. On a '72, not sure if that makes a difference Thanks.

base of windshield or vents in center console. Right side provides heated or unheated air.

The left levers operate (or should) the separate vents. Both to the left has windshield and under dash vents open. Moving either one or both to the right closes them. The right lever is for temperature of the vented air. Left for cool, right for heat.

thank you for more detail. I figured that's what they were andI'm usually one to just play with things to figure them out but for whatever reason I wanted to confirm.

On the lever on the right, the little dot should be blue, and the triangular shape should be red. If you ever feel like painting them someday, that is. I haven't looked at my dash lately, but I think the triangles on the left levers are white. But I could be wrong...

I also have a 1972.

On the left there are two sliders. The top one has DEF on the left and OFF on the right. The bottom one has HEAT on the left and OFF on the right.

On the right there is one slider. COLD is on the left and WARM is on the right.

There is no color on my slider. Simple block letters are located below the slider in each case.
