I am replacing replacing a crappy a/m 350mm pilot steering wheel.

its an m20 conversion with 15x6 inch wheels IE stageII springs and sway bars and bilstein sports. the steering feels a little heavy at slow speed but not bad.

I like the styling of the black prototipo better than the silver retro but i am wondering if the slightly larger diameter will make steering a little easier.

I will be driving the car a couple of times a week and autocrossing a few times a year how will the size affect this.

start out by making sure you have the correct amount of wind in your tires, i like 35 in my o2, i dont no if you have to change the steering system when you do a m20 conversion but make sure your steering is tight, next get your alignment checked. its very unlikely that a steering wheel change will improve your complaint.

M20 conversions are a bit heavier than stock. Add on to your equation big wheels and tires and possibly worn steering components and you'll have vague and sluggish steering at low speeds.

According to the Laws of Physics, a slightly larger (380mm) steering wheel will decrease steering effort a little bit.

"It's not just a good idea, it's The Law (of Physics)."

P.S. IMO, big wheels and tires should come with a gym membership.
