It's slightly higher and wider at the top than an E21 5-speed so you might have to enlarge your tunnel (or it might just fit, since none of these cars are 100% the same)

You'll also need to make a custom support bracket, or use the stock E30 one (but that will cost a quite lot of ground clearance)

They're a bit shorter than the E21 5-speed, although a E30 318i driveshaft fits after relocating the CSB mounting points.

This is very intrigueing, so i could use the transmission and drive shaft without having to shorten and rebalance it? But have to fabricate a few custom parts? looks like a less expensive job than the e21 tranny if im correct.
