CA fuel filler solution?

I find that the 76 stations use a different type of rubber boot than the other stations, in my experience. All the other stations use a bellows style, whereas the 76 by me uses a simple rubber donut. This allows me to get the nozzle in farther into the filler neck at about a 45 degree angle to the car. Then I rotate the nozzle so the hose is in about the 7-8 o clock position and fill at half speed. This is the only method I have found without making a filler device.

We've moving to WA state and I must say that putting fuel in the car was much more pleasant once we got out of CA yesterday. Even the OR state gas station guys had no problem.

For CA I would try to find a used 318ti filler neck like one of the folks suggested when I asked, otherwise pouring slowly and at a 45 degree (or some other) angle seems to work but it's a pain.
