1600 cabrio hood latch

The hood latch should be backwards on a cab, not sure about the second part however....

i mean the handle inside the car...if i push it forward it unlock the hood, if i pull it toward me it locks it...kinda weirdo, you can get the tip of the handle in your knees...

i reworked the handle and it is all good now. The owner reported that it is an issue since day one he bought the car in France.

There is two holes on the handle, and a spot welded braket. With my measurements i figured there will be the perfect amount of cable travel to hold down the hood at the other location, so i drilled the welds, and moved. It works perfect now.
