I just bought a car that had a 5 speed installed on it by the prev owner.

I discovered today that the bracket he used does not leave room for the speedo cable.

Will your bracket solve this problem?

How does the exhaust get supported on these 5 speed conversions?

Thx!

Our bracket is designed with a cutout for the longer speedometer

cable which will solve your current challenge.

The stock exhaust downpipe hanger set-up works with the O/D

transmission when used with our shift tower support.

Your picture shows one of the exhaust mount holes being used

for the shift tower support arm.

Here are some pictures of my car. Re-use the original 4-speed exhaust bracket on the 5-speed tranny. I found it is easier to have the back of the transmission slightly lowered to insert the speedo cable then lift and bolt the bracket to the car.

Note the marks on the exhaust pipe from the original support bracket at the 4-speed location.
