Chrome muffler tip? Bra?

Recommended Posts

Depending on your rear muffler, the tip may not extend far enough to keep the gases off your bumper. The chrome tip "extender" does a pretty good job.

I used to use a bra on my previous VW and Honda. Depending on the fit, if it flaps while driving, it might trap dust and scratch the paint. If you keep it on for extended periods (especially after driving in the rain), it might cloud the paint.

Worst mistake I ever made - putting a factory bra on my newly-purchased 1984 325e, thinking it would safekeep against love bugs and rock chips (and the occasional armidillo hit - I lived in Florida at the time). Ended up repainting the hood after 2 years, because of trapped moisture and flapping and rubbing.

Bra, no. But a thong - now that might be worth looking into.
