When i first bought my car in March this piece was missing on the right side. Idk what its called. It goes on the rear shock towers and its rubber and keeps the rear shocks in one place. theres two of them, one on each side. well know the one on the left side ripped. I got one at my local BMW dealership but it was 45 bucks. anyone know where i can get on cheaper.

upper end passes through? When viewed from inside the trunk, there's a steel shaft with a nut (or two) on the end, a steel washer below the nut and then a rubber bushing between the steel washer and the body. BTW, there should also be a cup-shaped washer on the underside of the bushing.

If that's the piece you need, either someone on the board will have one, or you should be able to find something that will fit at an auto parts store. It's a $2-3 dollar item at most.

If that's not what you're seeking, please post a more comprehensive description.

cheers

mike

they are 30.16 each at Bell BMW...go back to the dealer and tell them to match it...they should if they want your business plus you dont pay shipping.
