A V8 for your 2002?

Is it for one of Denis Palatov's DP1's? I assume it was his V8 atom you drove.

Good eye. Yes it is. I do all the fabrication and assembly for him. Fitting that motor into a 2002 would be much easier than putting it in the Atom, or even the dp1 for that matter. The motor is smaller and lighter than the M10...

I'd really like to chop off the back half of our (OSU FSAE) old 2006 Formula car and throw that thing in. 400hp and after a bit of chassis and brake modifications it would probably come out around 600lbs... It's already extremely quick with just 85hp and 460lbs. It would sure show up western washington's old 600cc V8, minus the fact that one student designed the entire motor from the ground up.
