Hey guys, thinking about buying my first 2002 but I'm still learing so i'm hesitant. Perhaps some of you guys know the car. It is a grey Supercharged '76. My biggest problem is thinking how to price these. I have an idea such as pristine 2002 would be like 10-12k, a pristine TII could be 20k and a turbo is 50K but this car is a 2002 built like a TII. Any advice on how to move forward?

Pictures please. I'd love to see a supercharged M10.

A poorly engineered supercharger installation on a car that wasn't supercharged to begin with can be a disaster waiting to happen. If you don't feel competent to judge the engineering and installation, take someone with you that is.

Truth be told, you'd be better off starting with a stock or nearly stock carbureted 2002, rather than a tii or one with a non-stock engine, supercharger or turbo. That will allow you to learn the car and decide how you want to make yours--stock, modified or a little of each.

Lotsa good cars out there; the trick is to find the one that lights your fire.

cheers

well I'm pretty sure the supercharger was installed correctly and I really do like this car. Can you give me your email address so I can send you an article on the car?

I had one. It was really cool to look at and stuff. S14 M2 would eat it's lunch all day long everyday of the week. There is a coolness factor for sure. I don't know shit from shineola but a regular 02 costs less and is just as much fun to drive.

It is a sexy beast though...
