TII Accelerator Pedal Assembly

1, 2, and 3 secure the pitman arm (15) to the firewall support (17). If you are talking about the connecting rod between the pedal box and the pitman arm you want to look at fiche 35/10. In this, clip (3) secures rod end pin (4) to the pitman arm. For some reason I cannot add an image, so check the other fiche on real OEM.

I don't have a photo handy but there is a good schematic at this link:

http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,0/page,viewtopic/p,714545/highlight,/sid,bf080cf799b8a9718bd06ed2df45d538/

The "pin joint" sits atop the threaded rod--it should be adjusted such that the Kugelfischer pump lever almost touches the pump stop screw when the accelerator pedal hits the throttle stop on the pedal box (inside the cabin). If it is not correct either you will put too much pressure on the throttle linkage when going to full throttle (by hitting the pump throttle stop before the pedal throttle stop), or you will not get full fuel and air when the accelerator bottoms on the pedal stop. If this does not make sense then you need to learn more about the system. A good place to start is the original Kugelfischer manual and video at:

http://2002tii.org/kb/59

See page 16 of 29, it has the picture you are looking for and describes adjusting the linkage.
