How can i tell what type of Weber (32/36, 38/38 etc) i have

linkage on the carb - 38's have a pair of quarter-circle gears on one side of the carb body that operate the two main throttle butterflies at the same time, while 32/36's have a system of levers that open the primary side (32 mm barrel) first, then the secondary (like half a 4 bbl). Once in a while, someone will modify a 32/36 with synchronous opening gears, but it's not common....

The 32/36 has info stamped on the bottom pad, on the 1/2" tall edge that faces the brake booster when it is mounted to the manifold. You can see the raised area where the data is just above my wrist in this shot..
