Driving my wife's 2000 in this small town is like driving a Ferrari or something. Heads snap to try to figure out what it is. Either that or I know what a Pimp in a no Pimp town feels like! Just needs A/C now, lol. Steering wheel is so hot you need gloves.

IT is very quick. and gets up to say 50 much faster than it did with the other motor. It pulls harder with the modern transmission. I still have the motor and tranny, but the tranny is shot. Jake did a great job on it. Now to swap the Milanos on it and hide the hub caps, lol!

I know what you mean about the small town...When the 3.0cs goes to Harris Teeter, its like alien invasion. Red car really looks spiffy. First time I've ever used that word..

I lost your email addy, and was wondering if you had looked at the blue 73 on Fort Smith CL? I'd really like to have it if its not devoid of steel in the wrong places...thought maybe you had looked at it. I think I'm going to let my Taiga square tail project go for a similar roundie project, especially if its Riviera blue...and this may be a rough diamond or a POS for $400. Drop me a note if you get a chance. Thanks, Dave Vanderbloemen in western NC.

I wish Sam was still hauling buckets around...
