orientation of the hood "stopper"

I believe it goes just like it's pictured in the exploded view. The hood latch grabs it when the hood is closed.....you can look at the locking mechanism and figure out which way it goes. I looked for a close-up pic but didn't have one. Ahhhh, Bill beat me to it with the pic! Well, my answer was correct anyway. :-)

well that is the confusing part

if you look at the latch, its curved. it appears that its intended to mate with the curved part of the stopper, but with the stopper oriented down, it mates woth the flat surface of the stopper

If you turn it the wrong way it will hit the body in front part of the cowl opening when you close the hood.
