Anti seize INSIDE brake master cylinder and booster?

Don't put anti-seize on the brake M/C innards--where the rubber and hydraulic fluid is. You'll mess things up. Same with the brake booster.

Anti-seize is good for mechanical joints and threaded fittings that are exposed to moisture, road salt, heat etc--like your accelerator linkage under the car, exhaust manifold and exhaust system nuts, the little bolts that hold the bottom of the strut in place etc. It makes them easier to separate after years of togetherness.

If you need lubricant inside a hydraulic system or where it touches rubber parts--as beneath the dust boot on a brake caliper piston--use silicone grease. It won't attack the rubber parts.

oooo, non, mai non... most anti- squeeze is petroleum- based,

veddy bad for hydraulics, as Mike rightly says.

There are lubes designed for this, and they are hard to find-

last look www.pegasusautoracing.com still had some briddish stuff

that works well (I use it...)

re:Anti-Sieze...

I don't see enough guys doing this, but it should be noted...

Since the metal in your spark plugs is ferrous vs. the aluminium head you're putting them in, make sure and give them a coat of anti-sieze...

Everything else use loctite (just kidding).
