Any thoughts on bumper pads?

I have recently been unhappy with my bumper pads, over rides? I don't even know what they are called after looking at some images of 2002's on google. I 've noticed some smaller units than what I have and also some cars with none on the rear bumper, looks kinda good. Any thoughts on mine would be appreciated. Thanks

You can get the overrides like Esty's from Blunt. Blunttech.com. I am currently changing mind out. Your looks like is has no rubber on bumper. Should make job easier and less expensive.

All US spec chrome bumper cars came with overriders front and back (an $8 mandatory option from Max Hoffman!) as pictured on your car. 73's (only) came with short, pointy ones in front and the taller ones in back.

Early Euro cars came with no overriders at all but with chrome covers over the joints. Later Euro cars came with very small rounded overriders in front, none in back. Overriders were always an option on Euro cars.

Squarelight Euro cars came with pointy ones in front, similar to the US 73's but not identical, and the taller US style ones at the rear. However I think the 1502s had 'em as options.

Sure about this? I think I've never seen rear overriders here in Finland. 1502 for sure didn't have them but I don't think other models did either. Could be options but rare around here.

You need the turbo or early over riders (no rubber, like Esty's) which are more expensive than the late model Euro caps which are slightly different to accommodate the rubber strip, as the other fellows above already pointed out. As a personal choice, I like the longer Euro style (or 73 US) rear bumpers on 74 and later models w/ Euro over riders and eliminate the side blinkers (front and rear) for a cleaner look. But we all have different taste which is just fine.
