on the M42. My '69 2002 came with three electrode Bosch plugs from the factory. They wouldn't work properly with a CD system so I took 'em out shortly after I bought the car--and still have 'em.

Haven't seen any Bosch plugs like 'em since.

With all the m42 has going for it I'm amazed that it didn't make more power in stock form. I have heard it was tuned down so as not to compete with the m20 cars. And there is the whole fuel economy thing.

Still a cool motor and a Mark-D chip really makes a big difference.
