FS 1974 BMW 2002tii 2002 tii engine with kfisch pump

On the block is a lovely, albeit a bit dirty, 1974 BMW 2002tii 2002 tii engine with working kugelfischer pump. It is number 2782692. NO intake, injectors, throttle body, fuel pump included. I have most other parts available for an additional cost.

Price $950 or offer. $600 or offer without kugelfischer pump.

It running the day before I pulled it from the car, but never driven. The car was sitting for 13 years, so it took some work to get it running. All the fluids were changed prior to running it. The valve cover was pulled and oil was dumped over the valves as a precaution. The kfisch pump also had to be swapped with one from a different engine b/c it frozen up from sitting so long. The good pump is still on the engine.

Much to my chagrin, I was so excited to get it running, that I forgot to get a compression test before I pulled it. I did run a leakdown test on it though, and that seemed to be ok.

It is what it is though... a used engine. If I was going to use it, I would at least tear it down and replace all the seals (Head gasket, timing cover, main seals, valve seals, ect.) I've been keeping it as a spare for my tii, but it has been about four years now and I haven't used it yet... fingers crossed.

I would prefer local pickup, but I will ship it for $100 extra plus shipping. That would entail breaking the engine down and sending it in pieces. The block alone will be 100ish pounds, so figure that it will be pricey. The ancillary pieces will probably add another 150 to 200 lbs in 3 boxes. Shipping will be from Madison WI 53919.
