Darn rain!

Recommended Posts

Darn rain!!! I know we really need the rain here in Texas. Especially after what went through last summer… But darn it though, the girl was wanting to get out of the garage and go play. I was hoping to take her for a spin into the Hill Country. Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow morning!!!

It's been pretty nasty around here lately. I've yet to meet any of the fellow 02ers here in town so let's get something together sometime.

I know some folks used to meet at Ruta Maya occasionally for coffee. I'd be down for that.

I see a lot of 02s around town, and some very pretty examples down at Terry Sayther's. It'd be nice to see who they all belong to.

I'm game!

I was on my way home from work about two weeks ago and was sitting at the stop on the frontage of 183 and Lakeline Blvd. and looked in my mirror and was surprised to see an '02. I wasn't in mine at the time but did get a chance to flag the guy down and shout out the window to him for a minute.

May have been me! I am on 360 and Bee Cave road and tool around the area.

Ok - I'm down for a short cars and coffee this weekend or next if you all are. Sat or Sun morning?

I set up the last few Ruta Maya "events" but am more than willing to change venues. I'm happy to drive north too.

Shoot me an email via the board and we'll start talking offline. Only one of the 02's is texas legal but doesn't mean I won't drive it...

Please send the rain our way. Way too dry (and HOT) on the East coast.

The digital thermometer inside our shop at work measures a consistant 110 deg. F in the afternoon (about 92 degrees at 6:30am).

No kidding Jim.

I'm on vacation in the Finger Lakes region of New York, to "escape" the heat. Dang it's hot!

Of course - Houston is underwater. I heard the airport got 7 inches of rain. I hope the E46 is OK.

We'll find out.
