I pulled my drive line to replace the carrier bearing but I cant get it to come apart all the way, any ideas on how to pull it apart?

are you talking about the center support bearing? I had to take a 17mm wrench and grind the edges down to get it to fit in there. Clamp it up in a vise and break it loose.

The factory retaining NUT is 24mm. If you have a retaining BOLT, your driveline has probably been rebuild (I know Driveline Service of Portland does this procedure for one). In either case you need to remove the fasteners and be sure to mark the front and rear sections, so you can align the splines correctly on reassembly. There should be not reason why the two sections won't completely separate--try a little rust treatment and keep sliding the sections back and forth until they come apart.
