Easy, stupid alternator bushing question

Okay - just got a new alternator arm and some bushings for Bettty. I got 4- 2 large, two small.

Looking at what's there, the bushings don't make sense. I think someone made this work with a combination of washers and bolts. But i think once I get it out, it will all become apparent, but if anyone has pix of how these go together, it might help. The realm diagram doesn't show 4 bushings....

Sorry for the "dumb" post - i know better. But tonight is beer night, not Betty night.

Matt; I think you're right that when you take the old ones out it'll be evident where the new ones go. Over the years I've replaced them in both our cars with urethane ones, and, I think the small ones go down at the bottom (toward the water pump) and the bigger ones go on the alternator tightening pivot bolt up behind the alternator, but I'm not absolutely positive. You'll know once you have the bolts out.

I agree Bob... Just hoping c.d. Would have a detailed diagram I could go in with. Just an alternator, so I'm not too scared. BTW, you have two beauties there. Which one is yours which one is the wife's? Guessing you drive white.

Yea, the ' 75 Chamonix has been my daily driver for the past 28 yrs. The ' 76 Pastellblau has been my wife's daily driver for the past 12 yrs. The ' 74 ' 02 in my Avatar to the right was my son's first car. He then went to a ' 92 525i, then a 2000 328i, followed by a 2002 E46 Dinan S2 M3, and he now pilots a pristine ' 89 E30 M3. I'm just not that fickle. Before I bought my ' 02 I drove the same 356A Porsche for 19 yrs.
