We are using an updated HVAC unit in this car and it required some sheet metal work to make it all fit....

Loving this, also bought a Hurricane AC unit for my 2002

Did you install your Hurricane yet ?  If so how did you install yours ?  Did you have to do similar fabrication ?  What vents did you end up using and where did you place them ?

Love to hear more details of your build.

It's still in the box. Mine has the fittings faced forward thru the firewall for mounting the unit above the passenger footwell. Working on mounting the condenser

Look forward to more entries as I have thought about swapping something in - have used the classic air stuff before but didn't think their smallest would fit.
