Are you gonna weld the body on? It's not much of structural strength anyway so I'd be tempted to keep it removable but there might come some rules interpretation...

Yeah well I have been thinking about that a lot! I'm declining to welding it in. Not much to gain after all I think and the rules... might upset someone.

Wish I'll weld everything that's easily accessed at this point.

I'm thinking of collision repair that may be due one day - hope not. It would be much easier to separately repair body and chassy. Few strategically placed bolts and tube of seam sealer before paint could avoid the rules discussion - but who knows. Strategy would be, well, not obviously visible 😎.

Or maybe a compromise - easily accessible areas could be welded. Those that would be easy to open if needed. Bolts in corners to do most of the fixing.

Just some thoughts - though I beleive you've gone many through already😉

Yeah well there is not much left on orginal frame. Everything after this will be bolt-on things.
