Time to fix the sunroof hole. Entry posted by Trey in 1971 2002 January 13 2,535 views Share https://www.bmw2002faq.com/blogs/entry/2559-time-to-fix-the-sunroof-hole/
 Followers 2 I’m not a fan of aftermarket sunroofs. I’ve been shopping for a roof skin, donor roof, literally any option to fix this without much luck. I didn’t want to spend carbon fiber roof skin money, but I didn’t see any other choice.

trimbk 0 Posted January 15 It will be an interesting process. I've seen some YT videos of people replacing Porsche 911 roofs with carbon fiber. 2-part adhesive and clamps seems to be the way. I got lucky - I had a factory sunroof and had the metal panel welded into the hole to make it a slick top. Aside from having to modify/buy the headliner bows to clean up the interior, it was a pretty straightforward process.
