First of all I have to thank guys at EDGE Motorworks (http://www.edgemotorworks.com)for getting the
car ready in time. With new front pads and rotors and new wheel studs all
the way around, the car made it to show. Presented in its race gear with
all of the stickers and on race rubber it was a nice site. There were
over 100 cars at show ranging from concourse restorations to 35 year old daily
driven originals. 6 factory Turbos, as many Tourings, one convertible, and
an electric '02 were on the lawn. Pictures from the event can be found on
the Event
Gallery. (index.php?option=com_gallery2 Itemid=29 g2_itemId=918)
Three
cars from previous (index.php?option=com_gallery2 Itemid=29 g2_itemId=1116) day's show were in attendance. Ali drove in the
morning just as it was starting rain. Norm and I were driving through
puddles in what seemed to be a mid May monsoon. If you want to see what
it feels like to be autocrossing in the rain see the in
car video (index.php?option=com_gallery2 Itemid=29 g2_itemId=1226). Or the video
from Daniel (index.php?option=com_gallery2 Itemid=29 g2_itemId=1280)if you want to see a couple fun
spins (index.php?option=com_gallery2 Itemid=29 g2_itemId=1280).
