Finishing the center console and prepping the dash

... your hazard switch does not meet DOT requirements. That may or may not be an issue at VA safety inspection.

+1 on the dash restoration sequence.  It would make an exellent tutorial considering how many cracked dashes there are out there....

OMG I googled it.  Here is something I can't unsee.  Not a perfect solution for BMW 2002 dashboards but compared to the rest of the car, this does not look impossibly difficult.
