Finally got Esty's carpet kits installed.  She made the recommendation on color combo for mats, great choice for Bristol exterior and Marine Blue interior.  Can't thank her enough for the quality.  Really liked how it turned out albeit had a challenge with the transmission tunnel portion.imageproxy.php?img=&key=c723ef59fd17d18f

Feb 16th - with the car back from paint, I'm starting the long process of complete interior redo.  Got one door panel installed.

While the car is still being painted I'm preparing some interior.  Had the rear seat redone with GAHH covers, turned out nice.  Purchased OEM door panels.  Performed Flock it on my glove box.  Will post more as I get them.

rear seats look great, what are GAHH covers, what did you use for the padding, original or new, thank you, Rich

GAHH is very common provider of high quality upholstery for many classic vehicles, link below.  This includes use of German vinyl.  Most upholsterers will know of them as a producer of material which can then just be fitted to your existing frames and padding.  My shop reused what remained of the horse hair and supplemented with some foam.  Not cheap but as close to original as you'll get.

Thanks for asking

Hello,

I’m just new here.

I registered because I’ve seen 69Bimmer02 posting stuff about OEM blue front door panels.

Could somebody help me and tell me where I could order new ones ?

Previous owners of my 2002 Baur 1972 made some holes to place speakers and I would prefer to have panels without these speakers.

Thank you very much.

Good evening.

Christophe.

I believe BMW is now producing new door panels. Check with your favorite parts supplier.

Cheers,
