This part is still under construction as is the rest of the engine. However this was a nice juncture to show progress and direction I'm headed.

Plan to have working valves and springs made of cardboard. Been working on a design which actually has "spring" action for opening and closing the valve.

More on that later. Still need to make the cam, valves & guides, plus the rocker arms.

3/15/18: Added the bump stick, valve guides and oil tube atop.

enjoy all the segments from the beginning to show the evolutionary build.

300 degree cam...yes?  How about some Alpina A4 throttles.  I need to get my blog back and create a place for it for your work.  I'm a fan.  One of the big things I have left to do on my car is build the fuel tank.  I was actually thinking about making it to scale in cardboard, then taking to to someone and basically telling them to "make this" out of aluminum....Nice work.

Thank you sir.

I have my mind set on side drafts, although a slide throttle would be trick.
