About this blog

I've always imagined the BMW engineers in 1974 saying to the US NHSTA "Sie wollen Stoßstangen für 5 Meilen pro Stunde, wir geben Ihnen Stoßstangen für 5 Meilen pro Stunde."

When I took the 'diving boards' off Seguno I felt like I could actually breathe a little easier looking at it.

Bumpers

Out with the old, in with the new. Plus rust protection

This is Sept '22 thru July '23 Diving boards are heavy with a lot of parts!   Surface rust lurking   Bumpers from BluntTech; doesn't look like they're selling them any more.     Need to drill a hole on each side to mount the side pieces. And fill lots of holes   Cleaned up and treated behind the bumper with KBS (note: KBS sealer eats thru plastic cups. Duh)
