2002 in Superbowl ad!

I wanted to share this awesome ad with anyone who's interested! I saw it on Superbowl Sunday, but it wasn't put on youtube until a few days ago. As a Broncos fan, the game was painful. But seeing a beautiful 2002 on t.v. was a cool surprise!

Was it helpful?

Totally agree, the 2002 will always be my favorite! I don't see anything too special about this new 2 series. Way I have it figured, aside from the M3 and M5, the only recent great car from BMW was the 1M from a couple years back. Not a very pretty car, but the flared fenders reminded me of the 2002 turbo. I think it'll be a classic one day, especially because of the limited production run.

It's really a shame that BMW won't listen to the faithful and produce a lightweight, manual everything that is simple to own, a pleasure to drive, and fun to maintain. LOve the ad, have no use for the new car.

Puh-lease!  I've got a 135i which is essentially the 2 Series.  I had a Dinan remap of the ECU so it produces around 345 hp.  Add some OZ Allegretta's, some Cool Carbon pads and some Michelin SS's and I chase Porsche Carreras all around the track.  My 135i is light, fast, responsive, comfortable, and toss able.  It's just about the perfect DE car.  Like the '02 she's not beautiful, but beauty's only skin deep.  It's my favorite drive over my F10 M5, my 997.1 Porsche GT3, but not over my '70 2002.  BTW you can get a manual in the new 2-Series, though I prefer the double clutch for the track.  Take a Euro delivery and put it on the 'Ring. It's a blast.
