I definitely did not. Maybe I should be more clear instead of obscure insinuations... It came up in conversion and myself and a certain other someone are legitimately curious about what you experienced folk think. Personally I would never buy a turbo kit this cheap, as I believe you get what you pay for.

Maybe it is electrically powered.

Maybe it creates a "vortex that increases horsepower"

Maybe it "injects water to vastly increase horsepower and MPGs"

Maybe it is "the secret that oil companies have been trying to keep quiet for years"

Maybe "if you buy now, you can get two-just add additonal shipping and handling"

Maybe it works and those 6 buyers are spending so much time having fun they have no time to post pics or results....

Yeah, just maybe.... :)

Didn't we do this one a few months back, when someone was asking about turbos?

Sure, just bolt it on and... umm... win?

Likewise, I wonder how it fits the M10 AND the M42/44.  Poorly?

That said, a turrrrboooo AND an intercooler with some plumbing and stuff for $500?  I have a couple of old motors that would be fun to ventilate...

AAA card- check!

One kit for all?

Easy, one kit with 3 Manifolds to ship.

Why so cheap?  Because it's a GTRS (aka: Disco Potato) Clone with Journal bearings instead of Roller Bearings.

Yes it’s not as good, but you can buy 10 of these for the cost of a “Bro” deal GTRS. To boost 8-15lbs it would make an interesting tester

I ran a GTRS on my Audi for 3 years; I blew one up by nicking a blade with gasket material, other than that it was great.

I ran it up to +26lbs peak boost and 15-21lbs consistent.

Doing 4 wheel burnout launches was really fun, but it did kill a Flywheel.......

I don't know, man.  If it's a disco potato clone, the question is how is everything else?

The flange on that exhaust mani. looks like it's 1/4" or more thick and did you see that it is listed as made from 321 SS?  The plumbing pieces look ok, it's 2.5" with silicone couplers and the intercooler doesn't look terrible.

Again .... I don't know man.  Buy the kit and then switch the turbo cartridge for either ball bearing or ceramic ball bearing.  If everything else is ok and the turbo housings will fit a high end cartridge, it might actually be a good starter kit.  Hell .... I think I'm talking myself into buying a kit to check it all out.

Please understand I don't think this is a similar quality to a $4,000.00 dollar kit, but for $400 you could have some fun.

My larger concern is how you would regulate fueling and timing

Agreed.  Fueling is actually far more important than anything else.  Compressor goes bad and you have no power.  Ignition fails and maybe you have run on with some bang-bang out the tail pipe.  Fuel goes lean for a 1/10th of a second and hello engine tear down to assess what blew up.  That's assuming you don't see a rod sticking out the side of the block.

I have seen great results with Megasquirt setups running a 36-1 wheel and EDIS out of a Ford 4 cyl.  There are complete systems out there, like the Electromotive setups too.  Honestly though, I don't see them performing any better than a Megasquirt can with EDIS.  It's just that the learning curve is risky and potentially EXPENSIVE if you do things wrong.

I even (vaguely) recall one guy doing a pull through carburetor setup on a Mustang.  I would imagine that because that is demand based, there is little chance of going lean.  Although a manifold full of compressed air and gas is no laughing matter either.  I don't really know much about pull-through/blow-through carburetor setups though.  I should really do some reading on that.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
