are you SURE you got all the bolts out?  the 10mm one from the front too?

 

every time i see this question, the issue is that there is always that one more bolt.  i have done it myself too.

If you've got all the mounts removed and the drive shaft disconnected from the output you might need to just take a pry bar and pry between the bell housing and the block to get the engine separated from the transmission. Just be ready for when the transmission disconnects as it won't be supported. More info on what specifically you've disconnected might help us see if you've missed something.

+1 on Marshall's comments.  There are both large and small bolts holding the tranny to the engine.   We are assuming you have pulled the starter??

 

 

Also - turn steering wheel all the way right or left to get the center link out of the way.

Starter can stay in position. You just need to remove the bolts that secure it through the bellhousing.

Look around the full perimeter of the bellhousing to be certain all bolts are removed. There is that pesky aluminum support on the passenger side. Plus the lower inspection plate (10mm bolts).
