other We Now Have 4 02's As We Get One For Our Daughter Emma

Saturday was quite a day , we started it by picking up our latest 02 a 1974 2002A for our soon to be 15 yr old daughter ( Thanks Grandpa )  She wanted a Beetle but at the vintage Carol thought it would be a good idea to get her an 02 Auto , well 3 days later we find this one. She needs the nose fixing a bit , there is some rust in the driver's side rear wheel arch & a bit in the hood but she drives great . The stock seats were ripped so we traded with our friend for the 72 re upholstered seats , I added the front spoiler from stock , We do need a drivers side rear light lens , I painted inside the housings & I'm going to fit an LED 3rd brake light , also rocker trim for both sides. Both my ladies are well pleased, Carol is really diggin' the car as of course is Emma. Saturday ended with James getting hit by a motorcycle in his 75  02 !!

Cheers Ray , it drives great ,there are no other A/C parts but I will be putting the same unit I put in Mohamad's car once she can drive , I don't need no stinkin A/C & Carol has not asked for A/C yet

That's true Mike, we did the same with James' 75 now a 5 speed , it was my wife's idea I just went along to make her happy;)

Hey Steve! Ok, so I know this is an old post, but did you pick this car up in the South Bay? I live in Redondo and used to see him around a lot and he disappeared so I guess this is why (for reference I was the one with the Arsenal kit you poked fun at at Woodley a couple of years back)

I'm the only one in my family that just has to drive a BMW. The rest have not caught the disease.  I'd been hoping to get a used E39 for Mary, but she says no thanks.  Some time in 2015 we will replace her Taurus 'touring.'  With what we're not sure yet.

Yes Web, that is the one we got it in Lawndale, nice guy too, with James' car being hit, he has been driving it everyday , great car. Well we did beat Arsenal at Wembley so what do you expect There are a lot more youngsters getting into these now , still affordable too, even though the prices have leaped there are some bargains to be found. Denker you just need to get Mary an 02 , she will soon fall in love with it.
