Which Electric Fuel Pump

Well I've decided to go with an electric fuel pump. I've got the wiring stuff all set(left over from another project) and now I need to decide what pump to get. so I'm looking for pump recommendations. Something simple not really performance. Along with that what are the specs of the pump I would need in terms of psi and gph.

Thanks on advance for any info I can get.

After listening to the Carter rotary pump for too long, I'm much happier with the one I got from IE.  It's also more compact and easier to hide.

Unless the OP is building a fairly aggressive race engine and want to bump up the pressure beyond 4psi (which I'm not picking up that vibe) the afore mentioned electric pump with 5/16 lines will work great on a 38/38 or dual 40's/45's  (using a regulator to adjust between 2-4psi).

And if we are talking about a car with a return line, use this as the feed by switching the lines at the sender.. And then mount the pump laterally, above the diff.  This is the natural path of the return line and if you don't actually mount the body of the pump to the car, but rather use two hangers and suspend it with the fuel hose at each end of the pump, the noise it MINIMAL.  Much less transfer of vibration to the body.

^^ +1,  This is exactly how I mounted my Carter electric fuel pump.  Currently I have the hard line on the drivers side dead-headed into the carburetor and it works great.  Installation only required drilling a single hole throught the trunk floor.  First pic shows the mounting location.  Second pic shows the clearance to the top of the diff (in my case its a E21 LSD...not sure if there's a difference from stock as far as clearance).  In the future I plan to re-locate the pre-filter closer to the tank so it's accessible from the trunk w/o having to get underneath the car.  With this setup, I can hear the pump buzzing when I turn the key on, but as soon as the engine starts the sound is faint enough to be drowned out.

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
