FIA invites new teams to enter 2011 championship
The FIA has requested expressions of interest from new teams who may wish to participate in the 2011 world championship. The Formula One regulations allow for 13 teams, meaning there is currently one slot available for next season.
According to the sport's governing body, the 'overall long-term interests of the championship' will determine which candidates are ultimately selected. One or more 'reserve' entrants may also be identified to fill any 2011 vacancies...

Cosworth satisfied after Grand Prix return
Cosworth are feeling well-satisfied after Rubens Barrichello clinched a world championship point at the Bahrain Grand Prix in his Cosworth-powered Williams. The engine supplier, which has returned to Formula One racing this season after a three-year absence, provided V8s to four teams in action at Sakhir - Williams, Lotus, Virgin and HRT.
“After the many months of work developing and implementing our return as an engine supplier to Formula One it was good to finally get the racing underway,” said Mark Gallagher, general manager of the company's F1 Business Unit. “It was satisfying to see all four of our teams in action.
