the Turf 1600 are the correct ones for your very early '68 (VINs began with 1660001). I'm sure someone on the board can come up with a used one for you.

They only came from the factory on the drivers side, but it's simple enough to add one to the other side.

If you'll drop me an e-mail I'll measure where the correct holes are as my '69 still has its original mirror. I'll also be glad to forward you a column I did on refurbishing those early mirrors if you find one that needs replating, has broken or de-silvered glass etc.
