Subject: Eagle Electric or BNR

I did perform a search and read many of the results but I'd still like some additional feedback if possible. Cracked alternator housing on my 74 Tii gives me the excuse to upgrade from my AL40X to a hi amp unit. Ebay search shows 2 sellers to chose from each with a different unit. Eagle Electric has an 85 amp w/external regulator for $149 while BNR has an 80 amp w/built in regulator for $169. I'm looking for a plug n' play situation as I'd rather visit the dentist than worry about figuring out how to rewire for a different alternator. I know there is a difference between alternators for tii and carbed versions. Both these sellers say the unit is specifically for Tii. Anybody have any insight/experience with either of these sellers or alternators. Any advice or helpful hints is always appreciated. Thanks in advance for reading my long winded post!
