We have a gullwing here that was bought new by a local family. They sold it to a collector here, who did a beautiful restoration.

Rumor has it that a 507 owned by the same family sits rotting away in a warehouse. I remember seeing both the 507 and the Gullwing about 30 or 35 years ago at a local show.

Interestingly enough, a friend of mine bought the parts lot from the old local BMW dealer (it went bankrupt when BMW eliminated the eta engine, but that's another story) and among lots of '02, E6, E9 , E21 and E12 parts there was a 507 grille.
