I use the same method Mike and others describe - weigh myself, do the math, and stand on the bar at the correct distance. If your weight is accurate, and you do the math properly, and stand at the proper distance, this method is every bit as good as using a Big Torque Wrench.
Torque is not complicated - force times distance. Torque wrenches make it easier and faster to do, but they are not required if you can do math. _________________ -Karl
