You're almost correct...during the mid-80's BMW made the 325 without any 'i' or 'e' next to the emblem and that car was injected. This was a stripped down verison (i.e. cloth seats, manual sunroof, wind up windows, etc) of the 325e. Also, the 'i' alone does not mean it's a sedan. BMW made the 850i during the 90's which was a two door coupe. One more for you...the 'c' can also stand for convertible, not just coupe......
