Thursday, 17Jan, cruising to work at 04:45 up Grand Ave west side of Lake Elsinore, I pass a Riverside County Sheriff fixing to leave a parking lot. He pulls in behind me. Having done nothing wrong, I ain't worried but I can tell he is after me. To get rid of him, I pull into Circle K. Hang for a minute or two then continue on my way. Two blocks down the road, red lights. "This car is not registered", he claims. "I ran your plates (phat 02) and it doesn't come up." Of course the car is registered, and while he is grilling me he gets a call on his cute little epaulet radio and I hear my name and address. "Sorry about that, Have a nice day." Fuck you Deputy, why'd you run my plates in the first place. I want to say this but I'm getting late for work.
