Subject: Otis' First Annual Barbecue Stripper Pole Fest

Tired of the same old stuff, Part Deux?

I am in the mood for some good NC style Western Barbecue. And that only happens in Lexington, N.C. Which is a stone's throw away from Winston Salem. Which is Ground Zero for Vintage at the Vineyards.

Thus, on the SUNDAY AFTER THE VINTAGE, Otis is going to host the FIRST ANNUAL FEED YOUR FACE LEXINGTON BARBECUE FEST. Will it compete with the twisty drive? You bet your ass it will!!! What good is a twisty drive without good BARBECUE?! And we're not talking about that dry Texas rub, Lockhart style Q. We're talking about chopped pulled pork, with lots of sauce. Heart attack in a basket.

I figure, NOON ON SUNDAY, following V@V. So, if you're not pursuing twisty drives with donuts, coffee, and fruitcake, join Otis for the Q-fest. I promise to hire a couple of strippers (if such a thing exists in Lexington, NC) to help us celebrate the Q. Maybe even Katie Morgan or Jesse Jane - I'll have to see what deal I can cut when I see them in Richmond.

Yes, BLUNT, I am indeed, out of my friggin' mind. So friggin' what. You're only on this Earth for a short period of time. Might as well go out with your hair on fire.

Beef and Pork. It's not just for breakfast anymore.

PS - just to get you in the mood, I post a pic of my favorite 02 rack. Not for any particular purpose. Just because (I am, indeed, trying my best to get myself banned).

This is probably the only time I wish I lived on the wrong ( east ) coast.

Strippers FTW, now all you need is some blow to snort off their asses. ;-)

I'm glad you reminded me of that, John. I shall bring it to Herndon.

BTW - I found some McWilliams Wine in -- of all places -- the Exxon station in Ocean City, Maryland. Before anyone derides my choice of wine stores, that particular Exxon also houses "The Wine Rack," which carries a wide variety of mid-to-upper end wines. Anyway, John, I did not know your preference - Cabernet, Chardonney, Pinot, Merlot -- but McWilliams comes in all varieties. And it's an Australian wine. So, make sure you tell me your preference, and on my next trip down, I shall pick up a bottle or two (or three).

No relation that I know of (might have been some long-ago kin from the Olde Sod that was shipped off down under for crimes against nature...). Not bad stuff, but I preferred the lighter offerings.
Good to see you in Herndon today - wish I could have stayed longer.
