C'mon Esty, you're trying to ruffle feathers again on a dead topic. Maybe you can enjoy your Holidays without worrying about what others promised...He's not Santa Claus.

Here's a suggestion for a New years resolution. Stop being a troublemaker...

We ALL know what your intention was in posting this thread. I hope I am the only one that replies and that others have already learned that replying to your post like this only encourages you.

Be nice - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

no beef, just curious...i assume you're one of the 6 or 7 that bought and received a set?..i don't remember you ordering carpet in larson's mid november appeal for money

i'd be willing to bet all the dudes, if any DID NOT get what they were promised when they paid larson

again, are you one of the 6 or 7 that paid for a carpet set to be delivered by xmas...if not, then perhaps you might consider STFU because you have no credibility in the matter and are not qualified to answer

What ? You want a pic ? Are you saying I'm not creditable ? Just what are you saying ?

you were one of the handful that ordered a new set to be delivered by xmas?

if not, yes, i'm saying you are not qualified to answer the question...and yes, i'm saying if you were not part of the larson b4 xmas scam, your response would is not/not be credible

simply stating promised by, received by doesn't mean anything...did you order a set of new carpet from larson in mid november and did you get it before today?

it's really a simple, easy to answer question...either yes you did order and recv your carpet or no you didn't order

My work? Right here. This is my old 76 2002. Kirin now owns the interior, which lives in his 75. No spray dye, no dash caps, no fire hazard LED's, real leather boots, no lumpy door panels, no Ford Fairmont clocks, all the seat belts are installed, and work, back seats don't flop all over the place. Just a comfy, stylish, and well built 02 interior ready for another 30 years of service.

Ok. someone is getting too big for his britchies. Kirin, do you know how to spell my name correctly? Who gives a crap anyway?

On the other hand, Al, I actually have that pic and then another one of the backseat saved to my computer for an example of when I do my interior hopefully by the end of next year. You probably won't care, but I really like your work, if it really is an example of what you have done. Do you happen to have anything left in RHD? I'm thinking about changing to navy blue.

Nothing left at all. No RHD, LHD, black, brown, blue, nothing.

And yes, that is of course a sample of our work in my pic. Despite what Esty would lead you to believe, we have MANY happy customers, from a simple carpet set, to complete interiors. We have/had a full service trim and upholstery, fully staffed, supplying rebuilt Recaros, brand new door panels, etc. Much more to Seams Perfect than simply selling carpets.

Al

work looks good, did you send Esty the same quality fabric?

And perhaps, in the future you could be more sensitive to the needs of your customers, and return their calls in a more timely fashion.

I believe that it is normal that a customer gets upset, when they are ignored and monies have changed hands.

And we as an 02 group would have never had to watch this debacle, in the first place.

and since this is the personal attacks thread, I cant get any nicer.

mr lorfjord, i never bought anything from larson, we never actually made it to the money exchange...fortunately for me

i figured out his games in the preliminary shopping process and shy'd away from him

i do have a car, i recently bough that does have a set of his rugs installed and as soon as i get time, i'll take some pic's of the "run of the mill brown carpet", he sold, instead of the hi-quality, imported material he's displaying

Actually Esty, that simply isn't true. We have sold HUNDREDS of carpet sets for 02's, E9's, and E21's. We've also done several VW sets in house, as well as everything from Recaro seat webbing, to door panels(boards and complete panels), and several complete interiors, both mail order, and in house. I won't even mention the daily drop-in customers for an oil change, more involved mechanical job, or upholstery. Even IF(BIG IF) all of the stuff on your blog was 100% relevant to your argument, the overall ratio of unhappy to happy customers is pretty damn good.

Yes, we have unhapy customers, EVERY BUSINESS DOES. I won't even mention the name(*cough*Ma...ill..n*cough*) of the BMW parts supplier who has lied to me dozens of times, telling me my part is in the mail. I've been waiting nearly 2 years(yes, YEARS) now for a tiny chrome bolt cover to complete the rear bumper on my 323i. It's an $11 part, holding up a nut and bolt restoration. Sadly, the part is back ordered from BMW, and those clowns are the only guys who have one. Also worth noting that I sent them a Recaro seat cover, at a steal of a price, within days of ordering, in exchange for store credit. I have not been able to redeem my credit yet. Maybe I should make a blog about it, eh?

Bottom line is, I'm a mechanic, trimmer, and shop manager by trade. I have never worked in the shipping business, and never claimed to be great at it. Yes, sometimes it takes a while to ship things, and I ALWAYS apologise for it, or at least find an explanation from Canada Post. Many people(some noted on your blog) who have been unhappy with delays, have received gift certificates, shift boots(leather ones, not crappy spray dyed originals), or some other token of my appreciation. In the interim, we're taking steps to correct that problem. One of which is closing the doors until we can get some things sorted out.

You claiming I am some kind of thieving, rip off shyster, is what pisses me off, and is simply a lie. Please show me some proof to your allegations that I scam people, and then MAYBE your bullshit blog will have some credibility. but not likely.

Al
