Subject: Guest Posters Readme! - Anti-Spam Mod Added

Guest Posters or users not logged in must affirm that they are actual human beings in order to post a message.

Look for

Select Yes if you are an actual person

right below the Subject of your post and select 'YES'.

No big deal right? But the spam bots won't know to choose YES since they run on scripts with known parameters (they never actually see the page, they just submit information directly -- and i've got a dirty little trick in there that should keep them from ever being able to guess the parameter name. muhahahahaaa).

Please let me know if there are any errors or troubles posting due to this fix.

Oh: there is one possible scenario that could cause an error. If you start writing a Guest post before midnight server time and hit submit after midnight server time it might claim that you didn't choose YES. If that happens just choose YES again and it should go in. Shouldn't happen very often, but just so you know.

cheers

Hopefully this will eliminate that dumbass "Me" mystery poster as well. I'm willing to kick his ass and then eat chocolate/mint cookies after.

All this does is confound the generic automatic posting tools these dumbasses use.

Kickass! I'd like to take all the spammers, spyware pushers, and virus generators and dunk them in boiling oil. Thanks!
