Has anyone done custom seat and door trimming whilst retaining a relatively classic style?

Al, do you have any pics of jobs to inspire me?

(nt)The malaga/tan is all Al. carpets seats door panels and matching wool headliner. the black and tan was local shop in NC. Bimmer Bros carpet and white vinyl OEM headliner. I have a much better picture of the tob./black but it won't post here for some reason. Found this one and added it you can kind of see the door panles.

Thanks again... I am gearing up to get this done shorty.

I have had a good look at Keith of my2002tii fame and I like the concept (not going to copy it!! Dont stress!) of retaining the classic hues, whilst makign it more individual.

Sydney Todd, Sydney. You don't know the right people. Karl got offered a free paint job yesterday as well as the chrome striping. Man, if your car is somewhere in Adelaide, Sydney is just as close. Let me know if you need anything anytime soon or down the track.

I'm not sure what you are getting at? I have people plenty of people locally to do my work. If I pay for it, I can expect a certain level of quality...

My car is in Casterton, Victoria - 320km from where I live or only a few kilometers from where my parents have a house - as opposed to Sydney which is 880km from me.

Thanks for the offers of help.

Everyone else, thanks for the ideas - helpful and not so helpful stuff.

Todd

My interior is in storage currently, but i have plans on picking it up later this week. I'll post some shots of the seats once I get them back for you to take a look at.
